Video Inspection Tool
No tool thread after all these years, but I see a lot of queries in here so thought I would throw mine out there.
My eyes are getting old and my fiber optic scope is getting harder for me to use. I see a LOT of new technology out there from $10 android based flex cameras to $15000 inspection systems. I've found a lot of decent looking equipment in the under $200 range but none of them feature articulation. (ability to turn the tip in at least one direction after you poke it in the hole/opening) So for those who have or have used these: Which one do you love/hate? Can you get by without articulation in automotive applications? I think a $250 max budget is reasonable for me because I can get a better non-video, fiber optic based tool with dual articulation for that kind of money from an industrial surplus. Thanx for any input.
