New center console installed.
I finally broke down and bought one of the new remake consoles for my 67. I got the one made for a 4 speed and to make it clear my 5 speed I had to more it to the right just a little bit. The only complaint I have is the paint is a little thin so it's really easy to damage it. I also went with the empty gauge pod and used a set of 2" gauges from autozone to fill the holes. Now that I know that size fits I may swap them out for something a little better but for now they work great.

Looks sharp, I like a console. I installed one last winter in my 67 Nova SS. I have to say that one was the most aggravating job I've ever done. There was no marks or measurements to refer to and the brackets were only sheet metal so it was hard to keep them in position. Finally got it done and it looks good.

Thanks. I got lucky and stumbled across a mounting template that Classic Industries has. That made the job a whole lot easier.
