I bought the plastic tail light bezels that several vendors advertise. I honestly think they look fantastic.
I am unsure how these guys install. Obviously the ring terminal will be fastened to the body, but where do the little clips attach?

They slide into the lamp socket slot on the tail light assembly. so the bulb has a good ground.

I've run the plastic ones for a long time (12-13 years)...way before there were any metal repops. They still look great. IF your mounting studs don't contact body metal the ground wires won't do you any good. I had driver side intermitant grounding issues and the only way I could cure it was to run a jumper ground. I took it to the lock area. No more issues.
