Need pic of factory overflow bucket..
Just wondering where the factory put the radiator overflow bucket for 1967 GTO. And also what the correct bucket and bracket look like ..thanks for any pics !!

I don't think it even had one. I know my first '68 didn't and it was a relatively untouched original at the time.

No overflow tank on a '67. Not sure when Pontiac started using them.
The early radiators with top & bottom tanks were not supposed to be filled to the top. I think the manual says to leave about 1 inch between the top of the coolant and the top of the radiator. This air space serves as your 'overflow' expansion volume. Filled this way, my '66 has never spilled coolant on the ground in the 10+ years I've owned it. John

Pontiac didn't start installing overflow containers on the Firebirds 'til '73. My guess is the same across the line...?
I adapted one to my '72 since they just make sense *and* they're required at the strip.

I used a second windshield washer tank and bracket for a firebird, put a plastic reservoir coolant cap with with a hose attached. looks OEM.
