How on earth do those cars get to their destination without damage? The second car back looks like its ramps are sitting right on the hood of the next. Man that thing is tight....

Those Mopars are ratcheted down pretty tight, they're not going to move, but yes that's a very tight fit.
Notice in this photo the banner on the right states it's the "Largest single shipment of Trans Am AAR Cuda's in the U.S." This dealer was really rockin' with AAR's. Mike

Is it just a coincidence that the Gay Pontiac is painted in the rainbow colors and two dudes? |

That was long before the rainbow flag was ever attached to the community.

I was talking to a co-worker this morning about my late father. Explained that up through grade school, my dad worked for Enstrom Helicopter Corp. Talked about an Enstrom being used in Jaws. Then told him about the helicopter that was sold to Evel Knievel. A little while after he bought it, it came back damaged. Story was Evel's pilot wrecked it landing it on his yacht. So, we use the amazing Google & come up with this picture! Not sure if this was pre or post damage.

I have always Liked those Helicopters from the U P of Michigan!!! Great Picture thanks for sharing.
I do not know if these Pictures have been posted before but they are almost on topic as supposedly taken along the Snake River in 1960 in what was Ayer Idaho. A dam had been built and the lake forming along the Canyon. The 1958 Pontiac Wagon Track inspection car is doing a check to verify that the tracks are still safe for trains. In one shot a RR employee is seen on the roof hiking up his pants in anticipation of the high water to come in the near future. I thought they were to good not to share.

Gotta love this one, the first helmet cam in Formula 1! The driver is Graham Hill, a very British looking man indeed. Hill's protruding chin and thin moustache became the image of Formula 1 racing in the late 60's. Sadly, Graham was tragically killed in a small plane crash in 1975.
