Got your license plates right here.

You would think, from peoples reactions, that Justin is the reason for bringing down the show, but a pro mod street car is nothing new.

I would rather see Justins car with a REAL pontiac, and a pro mod body, than a stock gto or firebird with a BBC or LS engine.

When is Rodney Butler getting a PM body?

Jack, you can't post EHTTFMF,when you have Billet Pro Mod heads. LoL

he said in his interview it will always be Pontiac powered, but like i said in a post earlier..it would be awesome for him to switch to a DCI RA V cyl head...he might have to ...eventually.....but i'm not sure Butlers use them..i believe they are Edelbrock only...maybe he'll have to use the Pro-port edelbrock..but eventually ..i think it'll be hard for a 340cfm cylinder head to keep up..??????...
EHTTFMF...i thought..Edelbrock heads to the Front Mother F_ _ _ _r

I'm just disappointed that they didn't give a spin-off show to Farmtruck & AZN. Their fishing antics are awesome and more relatable to most of us average gearheads who don't have 2000+ HP full tube chassis race cars. The new show coming is more of the same stuff just Kye Kelly and his clique of racers. By doing this the producers of the show are diluting down the popularity of the show which is already at its peak. It's still the best show on TV hands down. Those overhaulin & gas monkey shows are God awful!

I second that! You don't want the producers to forget their roots in the show. They need more stuff like that haunted hearse woven into good old normal Street racing!

They have to keep Farmtruck and Azn as filler material, no matter how many angles you show a 4 second drag race from, you can't even fill 30 seconds of the show with racing footage from a single race.

If the top tier of the current street racing scene is going to Pro Mod type cars, bitching about it isn't going to change it. Justin saw the handwriting on the wall and the Crow getting totaled just moved his priority to that type of car sooner than later. Look for each of the top 5 in the 405 to move to that type of car as soon as they are able to. Without stepping up there is no way they're ever going to have a chance at #1 on the list.

So in a bunch of racers that have absolutely no rules whatsoever, except no track prep (Outlaws), and no sanctioning body, hard work and doing your own fabricating and having 2000HP only goes so far. Now your going to have to step up to a lighter more efficient car if you want to stay in the hunt.

As has been shown more than once the track surface is the equalizer, I.E. The Pro Mod that got beaten a few weeks ago because he blazed the tires against a heavier, small tired car, with less power.

Beating the track surface takes more skill than beating the car in the other lane. Just like dirt cars, the guy that can read the surface of the ever changing track, picks the right tires and adjusts his suspension to the track surface will win. All the HP/TQ in the world in a lightweight car means nothing if it doesn't hook, and the driver doesn't have the correct right foot input.

Yes, it was a very nice looking car in person too. The crowd was so big around the car (from all brand enthusiasts) when Justin was there that that it wasn't worth the "Elbow Contest" to get a look then. I did talk to "Daddy Dave" and checked out his car when he was available to talk and also saw the "Murder Nova" on display. BUT Justin's car was the big news.

It was a very nice 3 days. Spent about an hour talking to "Harry" (owner of Precision Turbo) catching up on old times. He has a 'shindig' I was invited to at his shop one of the days before Christmas (Invite deal). Do not remember the exact date. Harry is very happy that Justin's old car was running so well. The new car WILL be a lot better.

Love those guys. I loved it when they clowned on Chief and Shawn, and did the Moredoor Nova. Hill-harry-ass.

Just for the record. Most Arizona based Pontiac guys that I know would rather cut 4 cylinders off a 301 to make a V-4, and put a 2 BBl carb on it and back it with a two speed auto then run ANY kind of chevy in the car.

Ahh... I'm now seeing some torches and pitchforks out front. Must be grilling up something special!

Don't get me wrong. JMHO... For my TV viewing pleasure, I would prefer awesome cars that I could relate to, with no big concern for branding under the hood. If I really needed pure Pontiac porn, then I'd go out to my garage and lube up one of the motors I have out there.

Ideally, I'd prefer Pontiac power in a classic bodied street Pontiac. Then the compromises start from there - classic Pontiac car with other brand motor, and then everything else, including imports with v8's and pro mods.

Justin can do whatever car for his own pleasure, it's his thing. But while we are all playing internet fanboys like this is a Star Wars chat room, I might as well pop off on what I like!

Justin, how are ya feeling? Are ya doing better?
I heard you have been in my neck of the woods lately. Actually about a block away from my dad's old shop.....

Anyway updates on the new "CROW"MOD? I hear there are a few guys chomping at the bit to run you.....One is the OZARK Raceway Park Pro Mod champ. Are you interested in bringing that thing up to ORP in Springfield MO to do maybe a match race or 2?
