Default 04 - 06 seats into 64

Has anyone put 04 - 06 GTO seats into a 64? Any thoughts?

I did see a '67 at a show once that had the entire modern GTO interior in it, front and rear seats, console and even dash. It also had the matching LS engine and running gear. It looked like the interior fit surprising well although the dash sat back a ways. I do not know what it took to do it, but I am sure it wasn't easy. I thought I had pictures, but can't find them.

I have seen the front seats from an 05 in a 69 GTO & they looked right at home.

I put 06 seats in my 65 LeMans. IM me when you get ready to do the install and can give you some tips. Fronts are not bad. Rears are a bit more involved. 04-06 is like 9" narrower so some cutting and welding to get them to line up with fronts. Also need to cut the backs down or block view out rear window.

Not the best picture, but this is in a 67 with complete modern GTO interior and running gear.

I wonder if my wife would notice the LeMans seats if I swapped them out?

I'd love to have the 04-06 seats in it. They are some of the best factory seats I've sat in.
