Default Merry Christmas to me!

Short story: 2 weeks ago I had lithotripsy to break up a kidney stone. Tuesday nite after dinner i started to get intestinal distress. Weds morn went back to the urologist to see if the stone frags were causing the problem. CT scan showed no stones; doc said maybe intestinal flu, etc.

Got home, the radiologist called......I had appendicitis!

Last nite I had an appendectomy....now I'm typing this from my hospital room. Merry Christmas to me!

I'll probably miss my family's gala Christmas eve event, but others will too thru no fault of their own.

Merry Christmas to everyone here and to our servicemen who won't be home for Christmas!

George

That sucks! I went through a burst appendix at the age of 14.

Hopefully, you'll have a fast recovery.

Get well soon and Merry Christmas!

look at it this way, your really lucky, missing a few days with the family will give you many more days with them.

Merry Christmas to you, and Happy New Year!

And always, God bless all who has or is currently servicing to keep this country great.

Bob,

I can sympathize. Sept. 30 I had back surgery. 6 screws in my back.
4 weeks later had a 12 mil. kidney stone. Lithotripsy. I thought my back came unscrewed.
Hope you recover fast !

Merry Christmas George....it sucks to be in the hospital over the holiday but on the bright side, you get to walk out in a few days....and lots of your room mates are going out feet first.

Merry Christmas George. Usually they can now just lop that sucker off with a lapriscope and it hardly leaves a mark and recovery time is fast. I was out in 1 day. Kidney problems are another story altogether, I've lived with chronic kidney disease for many years, down to only 40% functionality and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Be well and get better soon.

Thanks and a Merry Christmas to all!. Got home last nite, too late for family partying. Most likely taking it easy the rest of the day, have the grandkids over, it'll be a great day regardless. Christmas is time for family and friends, hope to do all of that in the coming week.

Thumbs up Merry Christmas George

Well, next time you boot up the computer, you'll find my belated Christmas wishes for you and yours. Here's hoping for a rapid recovery to "normal" (as you define it).

Have a great New Year, George. And thanks for all of the help you have given to me and many others on the WORLD'S GREATEST FORUM!!
