Thanks everyone for the kind words.
I feel like I have joined a new club. I'll need to make room for "#1 Grandpa" coffee mugs and old guy tshirts.  Her boyfriend has turned out better over the last several months. He really cares for my daughter, but I still sometimes grit my teeth and shake my head.

Congratulations Squidward. Yes, you just joined a new club as I just did last year. Glad to hear her boyfriend is turning out better.
My daughter delivered a baby boy on September 15th. As I stated in an earlier post, the father is MIA. That just makes it more important for me to help raising the grandson. Pic is from a car show two weeks after he was born. My ticket was called and I was able to pick a prize from what was left on the table. Amazing how I was no longer thinking of myself. Got a little truck/trailer with a tractor on it for the young man. I'm looking forward to taking him to car shows as I did with my kids. |
