Dad Had a 64? Olds 442 , Had 7 coats of imron paint, The door handles were gone and had a button under the fender to open the door, had the redline tires, and a 4 speed, Was a very sharp car, Then he sold it and they got a brand new 65 wildcat 4 door, leather interior, 301 nailhead motor, that car was very nice too....Probably the heaviest hood i've ever lifted on a car ,lol...

Didn't get along with dad, nor his cars. So a great symbol of his paternal piety was a peach colored 4 door Rambler (60?) he bought in 71 as a commuter POS that I refused to ride in or borrow.

Is that an original paint car? If not, someone did a good job of making it look like one.

Maybe not my favorite car my dad had......but my favorite photo of my dad and one of his car.
Photo was taken in 1954 after he moved our family....mom, me who was a new born and my two older brothers out to the PNW from North Dakota.
This is the car he hauled us out here in. I think it is a 37 or 38 Chev.

Mine got to take my 71 Judge to school during Senior Week. Sort of proved the point to the naysayers that he was able to drive anything in the barn if he just asked.

My Dad had a 1959 Catalina 2-dr Hardtop with a 389 4-bbl.
A 1971 Lemans 2-dr.
I was too young to recall them in 1969-73.
I do recall the Brand New 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix 350 4-bbl.
He was always Racing around 90-120 mph cursing the 55mph National Speed limit and Jimmy Carter.
My little brother and me both recall the sound of the Pontiac 350 Singing Full Song at 100++.
My father laughing.

Would have been the 73' Grand AM. He had the order form all filled out. SD of course and was denied. Ended up with a Orange Honda!

In 77' he order a T/A Brown Tan gut 4-sp car no T-tops so that will have to be it. Sold it to a young guy in OH about 10 years ago with about 25,000 miles on it for 15K.
