Hi all I am going to convert my 63 to a conventional drive line. Does anybody know if a nova or some other carpet close to what I will need ? Thank you. If I knew how to post pics I'd like to do some of my restoration pics as I go along so I may get some pointers from fellow members who have accomplished this task. Darren.

I went with custom carpet on mine. To post pics. Click on go advanced. Click on paper clip icon. Then choose file button and your pics will come up. Only choose one at a time.

I did use a carpet for a 63 LeMans and I do have a hump in mine for regular transmission, I was able to cut off excess and still have enough carpet to go underneath my plates acceptor on the sides. I took down my firewall insulation, & I wish that the carpet was 3-4 inches longer on the engine side to cover some of that firewall. But overall it works fine I never thought to use like a 63 Nova that might work better.

Just bought carpet and matching boarder. Cut to fir and then sew on boarder. Looks great. Did this on a 63 coupe and 61 wagon and also a 84 Peterbilt 359.

Couldn't you use the carpet from an 1963 F85. I think it has a tranny hump.

Yes, both the F85 and the Buick had the "hump" and I would think they would fit perfect, that is if a carpet is available for either one?

My thoughts are what did you do with the floor pan you cut out. My convertible was well undercoated early in it's life but that didn't stop moisture from the carpet up front from eating away some sheetmetal from above. Looking for a good front floor pan or pieces thereof. Are there any repos for other cars (like corvair or chevy II) that might work ?

I only added or on the way to add in hump. But I do have a 62 shell that has no rust on the quarters floors or any where. I eventually wanted to sell it here for you guys. its ready to go but don't want to get too involved in shipping pannels out you are welcome to all or any of it.

Can't do it of course as usual can't load the file I take pics from my iPhone go to attachments choose a file load the picture next thing it says is can't load the picture awesome!!!

Pics sometimes are too big. Use a Paint Program and resize them - Click on resize in the program, then check box for pixels vs percentage and change the largest number too 300. Hit accept then save on your PC. Then try to post on here.
