Rochester carburetor correct for 1968 GTO with manual transmission. According to the Restoration Guide by Zazarine and Roberts.
Also correct, according to http://www.teufert.net/pontiac/carbs.htm, for all big cars with 400 and 428 and manual transmission. Sticker on the carb has a date of 3-11-79. So I am assuming that is the date it was rebuilt. Everything moves freely. Some bits of rust shown in the pictures. I haven't opened it, so I have no idea what is happening inside. Sold with no guarantee that it doesn't need to be rebuilt again. After all, it has been 37 years in a box. Asking 200 for it. Plus 30 dollars postal shipping (from Canada) Insured. Shipping is what it costs me, so please, no complaints. No paypal. Except for a 20 dollar deposit if you wish. But that isn't necessary. International postal moeny order only please. Need more pics or questions, please ask. 705 875 8798 Call me pretty well any time. |
