Chris,
A lot of work you've done there. The rear quarter replacements were done with the the 3/4 skins? Bryan |

Yeah they were hardtop skins, not full quarters

I really like the wheel and tire combo. Can you share what size wheels and tires you used and back spacing if you have it, and did you notch the rear frame, those tires look big and fill nicely. Would you do anything different?

John62, they are wheel vintiques, style 62
Rear are 17x9 with 5.125 back space Front 17×8 with 4.250 back space Front Tires are 255/50R 17 Rear Tires are 275/50R 17 The wheels are great, only thing I did wrong was the tire sizes. I probably should have went with 45 series tires instead of 50's at least on the front, the front fenders had to be trimmed in the back edge at the bottom so the wheels would turn. But, I always hated how 68-69 gto's looked with the small tires that will work in the stock wheel openings. Since the car was at the body shop we just trimmed a pie shape out of the fenders and welded them back. In the rear you could actually, probably get a wider Tire. There's quite a bit of room back there.

Well, Steve started in the front, and this is the back!
So now block it, and prime it, and block it, and prime it! Will be black soon

Looking good. Where'd you get the 17" redlines from? I'm assuming Diamondback Classics but I keep hoping there's a more economical source out there.

Yep diamondback.
It's pretty hard to justify, I know. But I really wanted something different. 17" steelies, redlines, and dog dish hubcaps, $2500
