Default Turbo is easy on engine

Well after 6 summers of street miles and racing I am making some upgrades, pulled the oil pan to install a Luhn oil pump because I have been uncovering the old pick up just a little.
Pulled the rod cap on cylinder #1 and it looks almost like new, so I guess I will just button the engine back up and let it ripe.
Tighter converter
Rebuilt shocks
New set of Cometics
Takes forever but hoping this old beast finely go's faster then years ago!

v869tr6 can you tell me a few details if you dont mind sharing...

Has the engine been injected or blow thru?

What oil do you use?

Do you use a high volume 80lb oil pump?

Thanks Beebe

I would like to hear some details as well.

I'm curious how much boost you have cruising down the road.

I have been running 15-50 Mobil 1 the whole time, I have one large oil cooler for all the oil and a remote mount 2qt filter. I also take oil from up by the dist. and send it thru a temp controlled B & M cooler just for the turbo.
Oil pump is a milling 60 psi pump and have a total volume of 8 qts in the system.

Ran my blowthru carb for 2 of the years with about 650 HP at the tire, 92 octane and 500ml per minute of -30 washer fluid and no intercooler.
Have run the last four years fuel injected on E85 on the street and E98 at the track. Have two settings for the boost control normally have one set for around 675 and the other for near 800 at the tire ( on the street I call that set on stupid )
Made 850 at the tire last year but lifted the heads with the converter locked in overdrive.
Boost numbers have been from about 15 PSI to over 25 PSI, 18 PSI is about 700 at the tire with my small cam and to small exhaust turbine, but lag is not a issue.
