Default WTB: 68 GTO or Lemans

I am looking for a project car - Rolling body preferred. Lemans or GTO I don't care. Numbers are not important, options are not important. So long as it is a 2 door hard top car. I don't want a driver or an older restoration. This is a long term project to have something to work on next to my 68 Firebird and 68 C10. I need a family muscle car and the Firebird is a bit too loud and with a lack of back seat that is usable I need to haul the kid around too!

What I do need is for the rockers, floor, and window channels to be solid. Original paint and rust would be nice. I don't want someone else's butchering. a Title or paperwork if your state does not require a title.

Cash for the right car.

Thanks
Paul

Arrow 68 GTO Project

Paul I have a 68 GTO I will be offering for sale soon, but not ready just yet. Maybe in a month or two I think. What the story is, the prior owner was parting it out and when I found out about it a lot of the car was already taken apart and some stuff sold. It was not a numbers matching car BUT the option list and potential when the car was restored made this too nice a car to part out. So I bought it from him and am working to piece together a complete car with my best 68 components to make this a very nice project car for someone.

No pictures yet and if you find something sooner, no worries I just wanted to throw it out there but don't wait on me. Little League baseball season is fast approaching and my 12 year old son and I are heavily involved so my shop time is limited

I have a 68 GTO hardtop with 23 factory options including 4spd, posi, hideaways, rally II, disc brakes, rally gauges, power seat, etc, etc. Verdero Green with Black vinyl top and black interior. Clear title. Price determined once I get all the parts together for it. I have a correct WT engine, 4spd trans, shifter, posi rear in my parts inventory so all the hard stuff is going to be there.

Thanks John

Wow I forgot about this thread! I guess with the move my notifications were messed up. That has been fixed. Looking to spend no more then 10k on a project car. A 4 speed is a plus. Numbers matching isn't important to me. A runner would be a perfect.

I know of a 68 gto hardtop, 4-speed with A/C
Tach in dash, black bucket interior, it's a project, numbers matching, but does have a salvage title, if that's an issue.
In Cleveland area
