Default DCI 455 RA5 pump gas engine on the pump !!!!!!

We are finally getting to dyno one of my RA5 engines. I know many of you have been patiently waiting for dyno numbers, and believe me know one wanted to see them more than me. So now we will all get to see if my Frankenstein can breath. Here are the engines spec's. Lets see who can come the closest to what we get once it's all dialed in. Whoever gets the closest will get a DCI T-shirt. We are going to dyno with a single 4150 and then a single 4500 Dominator carb if everything goes well.

Spec's:
Bore 4.155"
Stroke 4.21"
10.23-1 compression (a little low in my opinion)
Heads have a gasket match and bowl blend only
380 cfm intake in the lift range of the cam
260 cfm exhaust
1/16", 1/16", 3/16" standard oil tension ring
Dished pistons
850 cfm 4150 carb
DCI cast intake for under hood installation
2" into 2 1/8" tube headers
Factory 455 block
Running on 91 octane pump gas
cam duration intake 250 @ .050", exhaust 259 @ .050" 109 lobe sep installed 2 degree's advance

This engine is an off the shelf build no trick parts, no high compression, no big cam, no sheet metal intake legitimate pump gas build no special fuel. Tell me what you think it will do with the 4150 and with the Dominator probably an 1150. There is no wrong answer so don't hold back.

Forgot to mention. Keep in mind that we just seen a pretty stout Pontiac win the EMC last year with 1 1/4 point more compression, bigger cam, 10 more cubes, and better fuel. I think it made 720 HP in competition. McCarty's RA5 had 20 more cubes, and 1 1/4 point more compression, allot bigger cam, and was run on race fuel. I think his engine with a single four made around 650 HP , and with his tunnel ram and 2 carbs 740 HP. Please don't take this the wrong way. I'm not judging or bashing these other engines. Only using them for a barometer to help with your guess.

Good Luck !!!!

I wanted to ad. I made a 2" riser for the plenum of the intake to increase the plenum volume. It may or may not help ???? If everything goes well we will know a little more after tonight.

It's actually on the pump right now, but have not done any tuning yet. It was late last night and the guy's need to sleep too LOL. Maybe tonight we can get a good number.

Talking Guesstimate...

I'll Play...

656 HP / 615 Torque = 850 CFM

678 HP / 626 Torque = 1150 CFM
