At the time it was a very common practice & if you wanted to keep you job you do what your told. But now it's a lot stiffer fine & punishment to do something like that. Just look at the flood cars that come up for sale now. If you get caught you along with the dealer can & will go to jail. but 43 years ago if you got caught you paid a small fine & went back to doing it a little more underground. But now if you do that & get caught much harsher. Plus what happened to me was a 1 in a 10 million deal. Not many people buy their own car back.
