Question Mitral Valve Replacement Surgery Question

I am having surgery in a couple of weeks and was curious what others have experienced as far as recovery time and would also like any tips you may have.

Thanks,
Phil

I had bypass surgery almost 3 years ago. I had a trouble but after the first week I was up and walking around. I had to sleep sitting in a recliner for a while because it was painful to recline fully. Doc wanted me out of work for 2 months and I couldn't lift over 5lbs. I was out walking alone right away. Chest still hurts at times due to the complications I had but I'm used to it now. It saved my life so what can I say?
