Default Power Tour roll call

Anybody else going on the Hot Rod Power Tour ? It starts Saturday in Gonzales La and winds through Texas on the way to Kansas City. I'll have the Yaller Goat on the Road on the Texas stops should be fun if the weather holds out. They are expecting over 6000 cars this year. Hope to see some of the PY folks out there, holla if you see me, couldn't be too many Mayfair Maize Yellow '68's on the Tour.

I'm in. Damon23 on the bs boards. No poncho to take but I'll be in a white '13 Challenger.

Wife and I plan to end the Tour as Long Haulers...(knock on wood)

Honk, if you see a 1970 burgundy GTO go by.

I've been driving for two days now...I'll be in Gonzales with the yellow '70 in the avatar and plan on the long haul.

Thus far she's eaten an A/C belt (but apparently loves the replacement) and has had some hiccups in the brakes department.

If nothing else it's going to expose all the weak spots on the car.

It's a hoot.
Every day a continuous car show parade. Folks in the small towns, waving flags and having a good time.
People on the Tour from all over. A couple of guys in the cars in the attached photo were here from South Africa.
Tomorrow on to Oklahoma City.

Default She made it!

We went just over 800 miles, made a lap at Curcuit Of The Americas and it drove and ran great! I got about 10 mpg, not bad with all the cutting up I was doing. This was a fun and exciting trip, lots of Pontiacs to see and some great people. Next time though, I gotta put an air conditioner in her!

She made it all 2800 miles...was a great time. I'd highly recommend it to anyone considering it even if you can just do a segment.

Mine made the long haul, second year in a row for LH, third year on tour. I'm already waiting for 2017...
