George had to order new needle/seat...no one had the size needed. Dick Won Outlaw street..Earlier in day went more mph than KRE's NA dragster. Dicks still tuning launch and its slowly getting there. Still running only 1 small !gun till 60 ft gets where he wants it.

Ok so how did the qualifying look in outlaw street? Did Dick have to mash the button and use calendar pages for delay to win against 9.0 cars like me?

George destroyed the competition in the burnout contest. John force couldn't have dun any better.
John (GM005) pulled the most wheelies in a single pass ! At least 4.
He's accepting donations toward the purchase of a set of wheelie bars.
My Grandson RB lll won Sportsman.

Outlaw street was heads up race not index/brackets.
He had competition easily covered as long as he didnt red light. Went 7.7xx @177.xx on smallish single gun.

KRE's NA dragster had better ET but iirc Dick held on to most mph for event.

Rules for outlaw street were VERY liberal...
Class rules:
  • Car must have headlights, & tail lights
  • Car must have a license plate
  • Any Power Adder – no limits or restrictions
  • Any fuel – no limits or restriction
  • Any Chassis
  • Car must retain stock steel roof and rear quarter panels
  • Must run traditional Pontiac V-8 engine with 4.620 block bore spacing & Pontiac Body
Racing will be done on a .400 Pro tree and the first one to the end wins

surprised no other big guns came out for the $2000. Maybe next year???

Fwiw it was @97 in the shade, fortunately with a nice breeze coming from the west. I didnt bother to note details like DA, starting line temp etc..

So Bruce what would you say the total car count was and the People turn-out was?
Did they have a little car show too as that increases the people count?

Yes Sir.......I was told I went up to 500', the only reason I didn't go further was because I couldn't see! That was the first time I really tried to hang it out, I would have had no problem going the 1/8!

Congrats to Mr.Fulton again!
I was just asking because good competition is what I like to hear about that is all. No doubt the a hot track sounded like a the toughest competitor in outlaw street....and by the sounds of it Fulton beat that too.

$2000 to win? NICE! Not sure why some of the east coast guys didn't go down for that....maybe next year

Wish Butler brought more than their vending booth. @150 miles away and no car(s)??? Whats up with that? Maybe next year? IMO its a great opportunity to set the stage for Norwalk not replace it.
