I got my car running cool again thanks to a new meizere
water pump. So I will be there in my firebird. I hope some
of the non race Pontiac guys bring there cars out to help
support an event like this. Whether your car runs 6's or
16's its a lot of fun and its what your car is for----- FUN

The date is correct and there is a Bracket event that day. I was told you can participate in both. I will see how and when they will post details. We will be there. Rich

Agree. I used to promote events and update the track website, did it for 16 years and ALWAYS made sure we had correct and up-to-date info. Can't get them to understand that there's a LOT of people that don't do Facebook. I used to host the website on my server and it was lightning-fast, now it's slow as molasses.
Just FYI- I also ran the tower for the Summit Series for several years. Better be very patient if you don't take part in the bracket racing, you will be sitting for long stretches waiting to make a pass. This kind of thing had me at odds with the owners for much of the time that I was active at GLD. They stack multiple events on the same day and nobody is happy afterwards. They are actually spinning it with the "Tripple Decker Events" (SIC) as if having to share BOP day with bracket racing is somehow something to get excited about...

Default BOP day @ GLD

I went there and expected to see many Pontiacs. But I was a bit emberrassed by the number of BOP cars showing up.
There was some rain forecasted for Saturday. That might have been the reason for some participants not to make the trip. I don't know.
Hopefully it'll be etter next time.
More advertising would be good indeed.
