Default Epoxy primer question

Hey Guys,
I sandblasted and primed the door jambs and wiper cowl with epoxy primer.(PPG DP 48). I would like to put some color on here before I put the doors back on. I probably won't get around to this for a few weeks (like 4)
My questions are,

When I can get to adding color, would it be OK to just scuff the epoxy and paint directly over the it?

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to use for paint for the whole car, probably BC/CC, but for the jambs, would single stage be OK?

Thanks again, Jeff

Jeff: I would use a dark red scuff pad and single stage urethane over the epoxy. Then you can paint the rest of the car with BC/CC.

Unless you have a high end car there is not a lot advantage to using CC around the jambs. Another option is to mix a little CC in the last couple coats of single stage for a little better gloss and protection.

PPG's website says this about recoating DP epoxy primer:

Note: DPLF Epoxy Primer may be recoated any me up to 1 week.
After 1 week, it must be cleaned, sanded and recleaned. Reapply 1 additional coat of DPLF Epoxy Primer only if applying basecoat directly to DPLF

Go to paint shop and get tech sheet. Period . Follow that.

As far as clearing jams ppg ess you can do an integrated clear into the paint that is what I just did mine in

Again do not just listen to ppl on here - follow the tech sheet.
Ppg jp epoxy has 8 Hr pot life and a 3 day window to recoat after that u gotta scuff.
If you go to paint jobber complaining about a problem and say "well what u mean you mixed 4 weeks ago ? A dude on the forum said I can put it in a fridge and shoot. " he's prob going to laugh as he points at the door.
