Hey Engine Ear, I was there early and it was so crowded but they were all good people happy to talk about their cars. I have never seen that many Pontiacs in one spot . Some actually looked like museum pieces..
1. 68 black Firebird. From Davenport I think owners name was Jack Parker. Beautiful car. 2. 67 red Firebird convertible 3. Open shot of part of convention Had to add this, I am not a F-Body freak but when I was saw the GTO's, LeMans, Grand Prix, Catalinas, Bonnevilles I was to busy talking to the owners to take pics. I'll have to look to see if I have any others. |

The Dark Side of the Dark Side....
1958 Pontiac Parisienne, the classic Canadian (Chevy powered) Pontiac Darksider. Incredibly rare, only 759 convertibles were built, and the only convertible ordered with the optional hi-perf 348 cid engine, tri-power, and 4-speed trans. While not Pontiac powered, this model still used the "Tri-Power" crest on the front fender for the triple 2-barrel carbs.
