Default Interchangeability question

Stupid question maybe but doeas an exhaustsystem from a 1970 GTO fit on a 1966 GTO?
Same goes for headers?

Headers, maybe. The full exhaust system, not likely due to the 3" longer wheelbase of the '66.

Most header companies have different sets for early vs late GTOs.

Ok, the headers might not work but looking at exhaust system type header - back it seems like most fit 64 thru 73. I guess that the 3" in difference is on the center section and can be dealt with while the back part over the axle and aft would be the same?
