Hi everyone. I'm new here to this site. What a great site. Can't believe all the info that is available. About 2 years ago, I gave my oldest son my '67 GTO that I had owned for 34 years. I restored it in 1985 and the restoration held up well, but he wanted to do it over again, which he did. He did a beautiful job with it and I kind of miss it. So, I've been thinking about buying another one. The years I'm looking at would be '71-'72 and I would prefer a convertible but I would consider a nice hardtop. The car has to be complete, all factory/original and done. I have little to no desire in restoring another car. I don't mind doing a little something or some TLC. I've looked at different sites on line and see that there are many out there. If anyone has a site for me to look at or they have a personal car for sale, please advise. I've just begun my search so please don't be offended if I don't buy your car; at least not right away. Thank you very much, Carmine.

According to "GTO Heaven" production numbers there were only 678 GTO convertibles made in '71 and none in '72.

True, no GTO convertibles in 1972 but you could build a LeMans up the same way a GTO would have been.
What's your budget?

Although not a GTO it looks like a decent one on CL about an hour and a half from me...Has the T41 nose so throw some emblems on it to make a clone and get back into the hobby relatively cheap.

I want to thank everyone on this site for their help. I started to develop an interest in a members car, but it was sold, Carmine. |
