It's awesome to have choices! Nice!
I would put some work into making sure one is a functional driver, and then work on the other one. Nothing is more frustrating to you/spouse/neighbors/city code enforcement than having two non-running old cars. Have you decided on ultimate realistic goals?

I vote for the GTO...
67 GTO AT, AC, PW, PB< this one .
I have a '66 GTO and a '72 TA clone and I say do dad's Goat first . Looks like the GTO maybe painted Reef Turquoise like my '66. What area of SoCal do you reside in? I'm near the junction of the 60 & 605 fwys.

Factors are:
Just sold a very nice 66 Olds 88 vert Both cars are #'s matching FB 4sp seems more fun to drive GTO is an heirloom, more meaningful to the family. Lots of NOS parts for both and AC parts for the FB have been spent already. I am almost finished with a super nice 65 Mustang, will drive that for a short time and sell that too. I'm just not into SBF's anymore. ...idk |

The GTO is gulf turquoise with black interior.
The Firebird is Tyrol Blue with dark blue interior. I will never sell the GTO for any foreseeable future. Money spent there will never be returned until I am 6 ft under. My wife's dad ordered the car in '66. This car will be restored at some point no mattere what. There's no emotional attachment to the FB. I absolutely love the options and colors, but don't have the family heirloom thing there. The Firebird will be sold at some point in my life. |

The Firebird is closest to being a daily driver.

Then I'd say keep the FB running as your fun car for now, and focus more time and resources on your "forever" car.
The F bodies are fun, but I am having a blast working on my Lemans.

Squidward has the same idea I have.....get the Firebird usable as a car, and then take your time doing the GTO right. Win-win.
