Probably a hundred different ways to lose a drag race. I pulled a good one early this year. I have always been a foot brake or 4-speed racer. This year a new car with trans brake and just-n-time button. I got to the line bump the car in and wait on the tree. PROBLEM; I forget to push the button and put my foot on the floor. I'm sitting there ready to foot brake when it dawns on me, about the time the tree starts. Well that doesn't work to good. I blamed on a senior moment. Won't happen again. Just another way to lose and learn.

Yea, my new 4 spd shifter that I had to have. 1st and 3rd are almost on top of each other. Thinking about having some kind of light that tells me I'm in 1st. Isint that sad.

I have two friends at the track that we tease about needing a checklist because they made so many dumb errors.
