Here's one from Atlanta. Says it is fully restored, just don't look at the pictures.

I can see that the restorer paid special attention to detail on that one!

Default Air keeps tires cool!

I think without the air tires would overheat.

That interior pic is beyond funny. Creeps me out just looking at it. Run a bacteria test swab...

I'd love to have the console out of that 2+2. It would work great in my 66 GTO.

What's up with the canary yellow decklid underside & door jambs? The car appears to be a severly weathered Mayfair Maize unit but the paint on the jambs is more fresh looking and definately not the same as MM. It's like a special order Corvette color or something. Weird.

Looked like a nice car, probably a week or so ago! Not sure how you would be able to fix something like this!

It would be hard to justify fixing that even if it were a GSX.
He probably didn't have full coverage on it because the insurance company refused to value it at $40,000.

Actually, I have seen the first gen 400 Firebirds called Formula in the past. Can't recall where I saw it but it was quite a few years ago. I got the impression that it was the official name if it was a 400 car but I have no idea if that's correct.
As for the price on that one....I wonder how he justifies pricing it several thousand dollars above the reference he posted in his own ad?..and that's the very highest valued Firebird 400 in top condition.
