64 Pont lemans VIN plate question
I don't really know if this is the place for this, but I'm looking at buying a 64 Lemans but the vin plate on the door jam is missing. Car is in rough shape but savable. Is there a place that can make a vin tag for this car? Thanks

You can try your state motor vehicle dept. Most states can retitle these old vehicles.

its a common prob with 64s, the tag is spot welded on by the factory. ..i know people who pulled the fender off an the tag falls out..a lot end up there
Do it right, take it to your DMV and get it done...if theres any paper work, get the vin and have it ran to make sure theres no issue...
