I'm just in the process of repairing some rust on my 65, and would like to replace the trunk floor. Last time I did it I think I used a chevelle 3 piece kit but can't remember for certain. All the braces are fine, the floor is just badly pitted and has a few holes.
Can anybody recommend the best 3 piece floor kit to use and if the chenille one is the same? Our host only seems to offer with braces attached and all mine are fine. Thanks in advance for any help with this. |

I don't know the brand, but I bought mine from summit racing, I only needed the left and center section . Fitment was good. Keep on mind, they don't make an replacement trunk pan for the '64-'65. They use the '66-'67 style. The main differences are the the center drain hole and a few braces for the jack. I have pictures of the replacements installed I'll Download pics when I get home.

Thanks Jeff,
I'm currently thinking the ones from summit look like the best choice, and the price is also much better that OPG/Ames etc for some reason. The ones I am seeing on Summit are Goodmark which seems to be a pretty good quality brand. Cheers! |

I bought the Goodmarks from Summit but haven't fit them yet. I wanted to add though that I got one (of the three) that was not correct. It had the correct stickers on the part and on the box - but it was several inches too short.
Summit took care of it immediately at no cost to me I am just saying check what you get...it would have sucked to be outside the return period. |

I used the kit from AMES and the body shop said that the fit was really good and they had no issues. I did get the complete kit with all the braces, but they do offer the items individually.
