Default Heb Adams VSE F body front sway bar diameter

I have an old original VSE f body front sway bar with the heim joints in storage, anyone know the OD dimension? I need to order new mounts and bushings but can't get by the storage unit to measure it. thanks.

The very early VSE (circa 1979) are actually factory 1.25 inch bars with the end cut off and tapped for the Heim joint (look for the factory part number stamped on the bar).

I think Moroso carried them for awhile and now NPD does.

Hutchinaugusta:

This is later version of the bar, may also be 1.3125", Herb Adams changed the bar design several times. The earliest bars are factory bars with the ends cut off and a hole drilled and tapped down the center for the heim joint.

originals were 1 5/16" front, 1" rear.
purchased first set in '83 when Herb VSE ran a special.

I am quite sure I have a pair (spares) of those heim ends that came with the large diameret bar with the holes on the end. They have the mount studs. Will never use them.

If anybody is interested in them, let me know and I can post a for sale ad.

I have the old VSE heim-joint bar on the '79. I picked it up at a swap meet years ago. One of the joints was a little more worn for my liking so I bought a new replacement from McMaster-Carr.
I believe the later VSE bars had ball-joint type end links like those found on the outer ends of steering links.
