Greg, wish you had sent me a text, I likely would have tried!
Our day started off early & the weather was great but for whatever reason we quickly learned it was a gridlock alert day in the city and we ended up about 20 minutes late for our 1st stop at Madison Square Garden. The people there could not have been nicer and ushered us in to the next group with Mike as our tour guide. Mike was hip to our game and played along well - here are a few of the photos we got.... The Rangers had played last evening & I was hoping that by getting there early we would be able to get him on the ice but Louis CK is performing there tonight and they already had the stage setup in full swing. We still got to go up to the Citibank Sky Bridges, on to the floor & into one of the 4 keg rooms - this was the small one!

Mike also got us into each of the two dressing rooms for the Knicks & the Rangers, even threw a warm-up jacket & a helmet on the fat guy.
 (Rangers consider it bad luck to have their logo exposed in the dressing room when it's not a game day - that's why there is a piece of carpeting over it.  )Got to catch a picture in front of Wayne Gretzky's retired jersey too! Great time there!

So off to our next stop at Yankee Stadium where an e-mail would have likely proven beneficial......even with tickets for the tour, we were refused access to the building due to our knome as they kept calling it. We were told in no uncertain terms that we could not bring him into the facility, even though while we were waiting at the gate for an answer, another person walked in carrying a duffle bag he could have fit in.
I don't think telling them that they let him onto the field at Fenway helped at all. **** the Yankees!Off to Metlife Stadium, home of the Giants.....and the Jets. Although we had picked this week intentionally because it was between two Sunday home games for the Giants, our contact there (and us) failed to realize that the Jets were playing there on Saturday until she walked into the stadium this morning. Close but no cigar!

Close - I actually have my own at this point, found him a couple of summers ago a couple of towns over on the curb with the trash on pickup day. He now hangs out with the cars in the barn.
I still steal the original whenever necessary.
