Battery tray

Starting to mock up parts for reassembly. It's been sooooooo long I forget how things looked. When I attached the battery tray to the core support I notices that it's not level/straight. The side towards the fender sits back a little more than the side near the radiator. I notice the mount on the support is made that way. Is this normal or did I get a screwed up radiator support??
