1.65 rockers on exhaust only
Guys would it be a good iidea to put 1.65 rockers on the exhaust only for my old faithful cam ? I fiquire it would help feed the turbo better what do you guys think ? Would it make the cam sound meaner ?

1) Would it make the cam sound meaner?
Probably not as the Turbo is the MUFFLER basically in the application (before the exhaust system). 2) I figure it would help feed the turbo better what do you guys think? The exhaust pressure might go up slightly (easy to read on a gage before the turbo) but if the exhaust is getting to the Turbo properly then if anything you might have a bit more reversion into the cylinder and contaminate a bit more of the charge on the overlap portion of the cam events. Engine might run a slight bit rougher at idle due to more charge contamination. Old Faithful camshaft is not really a Turbo Design camshaft for events so you are not really at a perfect spot with the camshaft events anyway. I would not do it as a waste of money in my mind but whatever makes you feel good. Good Turbo packages actually (at times) have less exhaust duration timing vs intake timing. Tom V. A Belt Driven Blower would see an improvement with the 1.65 rockers.
