The emergency brake assembly is finished, the go pedal is finished, and the brake and clutch pedal assembly is about halfway there. Nice work on the pedals. Did you totally disassemble the emergency pedal to reduce them??? I'm at that stage on my 75 restoration . I just removed them from the car this morning.

I did not really disassemble the ebrake. I removed the switch, spring clip, and spring, but these things are riveted together and I wasn't going to mess with that. I bead blasted the whole thing and then after scrubbing and clearing used 3M 1/4" vinyl tape to establish the line for masking. You can get this at Napa and it is great for tight places, curves, et cetera. Then just use regular quick release tape and mask everything else as best you can. I stuffed a paper towel up into the backside of the pedal arm. Some of the satin clear pulled with the tape, but you can shoot right over it and it blends invisibly. Good luck.

The no spoiler was easy as a very good friend sent me a pristine "no-spoiler" deck lid and the quarters are NOS GM. More importantly, I struggle with the no spoiler decision because it looks so Bad To The Bone with the spoiler. However, it was born with almost every other option, but no spoiler, so I can't justify putting a spoiler on it while the PHS is blank in that regard. Maybe a rare earth magnet spoiler in the future....who knows. I'll just be glad to get this baby done. Between taking it to Tom, going to Tom's to pick up a million primer dusted pieces, and then taking it Supercar, this car has covered more miles since I bought it with no engine, than with an engine. It's in great hands now and I am so anxious to get it done.

Next - the Hemi is back in the house. I have a good friend and customer from Brazil that loves Mopar's and he is coming for his annual visit the week after. We usually do a long, high speed drive in the Cuda when he visits, and a few burnouts. In essence, the Cuda is a "Marketing Tool". Mini Me helped and we got itl cleaned, oiled, and aired up for the season. I need to get it out on the road tomorrow to heat up the plugs. This thing isn't happen with frequent starts and stops.

I approve of the no-spoiler look. It kind of resembles a fastback that way. And like you said - for some reason the person who originally ordered the car made a conscious decision to leave it off the check list.

I used to think the spoilers were a must-have, but since that time, the spoiler-less look on a Formula has really grown on me - to the point now, where I prefer the look without - the cleaner semi-fastback look just seems so right now...

My Pal Jim just sold his Curious Yellow '71 Hemi 'cuda cnvt Clone. Going to Canada. I'm gonna miss it. The car really was a fun car to drive. 528 hemi/727 with 3.54 gears. Ran great, idled well in traffic, and got a ton of attention while out driving it.

This was while we were at the Mopar Nats. I took it out one year and drove it everywhere all weekend.

I just got my AC suitcase back from the restorer and wow, it looks great. I sent it to Benny Sanchez in Texas and he did a fantastic job. While it was in pretty good shape to start with, it looks like new now. The turnaround time was about 4 weeks from when I mailed it. Benny's text/cell is 813.363.4769 and I give him a great recommendation.
