![]() does anyone have a picture of where this bracket goes? I got three doors with the car, but I only have one of these in the door parts bucket. Was it on all the 70 cars? And if I need these in the doors does anyone have another one? Thanks Bert

I have a 71 and have removed and replaced the original door interior panels to lubricate and adjust the windows and have not seen one of those.

Now ya'll are making me feel better. I can't find a way that it mounts on any of the doors I have. The Ames catalog shows it and the Ames Tech guy said it went at back of door towards bottom. I need to do more research I guess. Thanks for looking

My guess, It's for a post coupe or sedan.
Uses scissor type regulator. |

Here is a pic of my 70 GTO. This is looking down from the top, at the rear of the
door, passenger side. You can see the bracket at the rear of the glass. Ken |

That's what I was looking for Ken, if your door panel is off would you take a picture of the where the bolt and the alignment tab go. My doors have been modified for the power locks that I am using and I believe the hole was cut away.
Also I have to add that I have another door here that has no bolt hole for that bracket. Could this bracket have been on some 70's and not other 70/s? early production or late production?

Bert, My door cards are on so I can't get a picture of the mounting holes and I did not take a picture of that area prior to restoration.
My car was a basket case when purchased so the doors were not original to the car. My car is a 1970 but doors I am pretty sure are from a 71 or 72. Ken |

OK, I pulled the door card away and took a pic. This is the mounting holes for the
bracket. Ken |

Thanks alot Ken, none of my three doors have the holes for this. This car did come out of a junk yard so the guide could have been just laying in the car. Could someone chime in if this is a 71-72 thing and not a 70 part.
