I wasn't going to comment but WOW, just wow...............this kid that no one knows beside this buddy of yours is labeled as a lazy teenager along with his helicopter mom are ridiculed. They are your tools and you could do what you want with them but your buddy said this kid is in to wood working and wanted the tools. If you are giving them away then obviously you didn't want them anymore and were just taking up room. The mom was willing to drive 3 hours to get them, I assume 6 hours both ways. That seems like a long way for 100.00 worth of wood tools. Maybe the kid works long hours maybe the kid goes to school and has a job heck maybe the kid is lazy but you do know he was into woodworking. Anyone who has worked with wood knows it is time consuming process to make something nice out of wood not usually a lazy persons hobby/job. If the tools are free and comes with stipulations maybe you should post that in your add. I recently gave away a bunch of cheaper tools that I had when I was younger, not great tools but did the job putting the Trans Am together. The kid was in his 20's and was so happy to get them, he was working on a basket case of Camaro. I was surprised he drove it from Denver to my house and made it. I told me to text if he needed help locating parts or advice in 2nd gen F-bodies. If he used the tools to fix car or flipped them for a little cash to buy parts for the car, good for him. I didn't need tools since I upgraded to better tools but to each his own.
