new classic ind. catalog has these available. has any one tried them?
these are the polished aluminum pieces instead of the standard black plastic. I could not find them in the past and am preparing to install headliner. my old ones are fairly beat up but useable.....new would be good if they fit well.

A friend of mine is restoring a 68 Camaro for a customer and he installed a set of those (Firebird only, but the customer thought it was cool). I have seen them, and they are ultra nice and fit well.
I asked my friend to ask his customer where he got them from but the guy has no clue as he's been buying parts here and there for the last two years. Wherever they come from, I'm guessing only one manufacturer makes them. I would not hesitate to buy a set after seeing those. Hope this helps, Frank. |

Agreed. Polished aluminum was for deluxe interiors. Black plastic was standard.
