It is probably a good thing I already have a vehicle on my schedule from New Hampshire to California after delivering one to N.H. or I would have probably went over there & brought something else home that I probably didn't need!

I'm about 3 hours east from there. Been by Joe's Pond on Rt 15 a number of times.
I wouldn't mind checking the trim tag on the 66/67 GTO and giving the Can Am and '69 FIrebird a look.

'67 Tempest(?) could be an OHC car.
I think that may be a '73 Grand Am directly behind the '59 Buick.

They have been for sale for years. The guy wanted over a million for the collection, parts, and property. Obviously, nobody was that stupid to buy it. Shame that there are morons out there that think that their sTUFF is gOLD.

^^^ I blame them Mecum auctions. Every rust bucket mustang is now a 5 figure vehicle in the eyes of the owners.

Question lifted this Can Am link from the "Epic Craigslist" thread

The listing posted at the start of this thread was flagged for removal, but the property owners have now listed the Can Am individually:
https://vermont.craigslist.org/cto/d...296739836.html
Those quarters are really rotten, along with lots of (anticipated) rust issues around the glass channels. Nobody in New England would want to spend the money to correct all that for it to pass inspection. It also confirms that it wouldn't be worth it for me to burn a tank of gas to drive up there, just to look at a handful of cars for sh!ts and giggles.
A vehicle like that would only be feasable to use on the road as a beater in states that don't require inspection. Or you could make it an ugly 11 second drag car.

On a different note: Being a column shift without A/C makes it quite rare. I wonder if anybody knows how many Can Ams were produced without A/C.

Production records for the Can Am were poor at best. Just the production number of 1377 seems to be in question all of the time. I have two PMD documents proving that number.

The Vermont car is an expensive parts car. It has sat too long and has far too much rot to even attempt a resto.
