Partridge family one of my favorite shows back then. I even had a 'Shag' hairstyle like David even though I was closer to Dannys' age.

The Monkees and the Partridge Family exposed me to an alternative to the country music my mom and dad played when I was growing up. I had a huge crush on Susan Dey, Marsha Brady wasn't even a close second.

RIP, David Cassidy.

I still have his vinyl albums. My bedroom was covered in David posters, my notebooks for School were written all over with his name and ♥️ hearts. I was a true fan, he was a huge heart throb back in the day, he will be missed. RIP my teen years boyfriend. ☹️

First was Reuben (OK, maybe the dog was the first), then Tracy, now Keith.
Loved the show. R.I.P. all.

I was never a big fan of the Partridge Family but I felt I Think I love You was a first rate song.
Earlier this year, I came across this concert video where he pokes fun at himself for the lame spoken word part in the song Doesn't Somebody Want to Be Wanted. https://youtu.be/4SIyEHsrVf4?t=5m50s
He had a pretty good sense of humor about it.

If you rewind to the song's introduction, he explains how he felt about it back when he recorded it.

R.I.P. He seemed like a regular guy that had some real musical talent. The show was a good one. He went through a lot of tough stuff in his life in his family and personal life and he kept his sense of humor 'til the end.
