I know a lot of guys on here run them, but I hate those big ugly aluminum radiators that everybody with a 60s or 70s musclecar thinks they need, And 2 big-ass electric fans. Any slip-on hose covering and fake AN hose ends and colored snap on bolt covers.

I hate seeing anything with less than 8 cylinders and those stupid plastic engine covers.

Two things: 1. Tall style wing nuts holding down aftermarket valve covers 2. Radiator flex hoses. Actually three things: 3. Loose electrical wiring

On the subject of any car I hate rotaries. Not so much the fault of the engine but everyone I knew in high school that had an RX7 felt it was their duty to run an open exhaust.

I agree on the engine covers but there are lots of cool engines out there with less than 8 cylinders. My old Nova with a 4bbl and headers on a straight 6 used to draw some attention.

I'm the opposite. I hate dirty, discolored jugs.

I dislike sloppy wiring and unattended oilleaks.

as for modern cars , I really hate those plastic engine covers every brand seems to think are necessary for some silly reason.

Tower clamps, clutch fans, cast iron exhaust manifolds, old style ac compressors, stock air cleaners, v belts and ANY batteries. They belong in the trunk fellas!!
Oh and Im a huge fan of ginormous white jugs, although brown jugs are pretty hot as well but not sure the relevance....

I don’t care for the brightly colored plug wires or the cheap neon looms. I love finned valve covers though but in satin not polished.

I'll tell ya something MOPAR people hate and thats when some one paints the firewall and wheel wells black instead of the body color, they say thats too easy and I look at them and think, that is coming from a car owner that is OK with closing the door and it sounds like an empty soup can!!!

Never liked universal radiator hoses, on any car. LS engines are great engines, but they don't make much power compared to a Poncho, but they make great daily drivers getting 22-24 MPG in a fourth gen TA or Formula. I'd never put one in a classic Pontiac, never. When they start LS-swapping Hot Wheels cars, it's getting real...real stupid.

Under the hood, in the old days, people eliminated the frivolous stuff. Changed slow stuff to faster stuff. Put touches that distinguished the power zone as yours. Added aluminum and shine. But even then, stupid, dumb, cheap, rigged where amateur marks. While I admire factory correct perfection seen now as king, I don't prefer over shiny, over restored, that is beyond anything built in the day, and now presented as the new correct. They weren't THAT shiny And I have a too shiny new engine, so me bad.
