Is that basically an upgrade for an LS truck coil with built in driver?

Very cool car Ed... Think this one goes famous beyond the Pontiac world.

Wow, you have packaged everything under the 400 hood, and in the trunk you moved the hinges to allow more packaging in a confined space, but still managed to retain the hinged trunk lid, vice a pin-on deal...I love it. That stance in menecing too.

The trunk is steel too.

Quote from a old Turbo Forms post:
"Consider that closing the throttle is what causes the pressure spike. It would be best to dump the airflow as soon as possible instead of inflating the tanks and then dumping the airflow. If you have room you could actually put the valve on the outlet tank itself"

I added some pics here First ones are the side of the intercooler tank that failed. The inter-cooler was in the vehicle with the driver.

Some additional pictures of the intercooler after bracing:

You can see that the water tank, the oil cooler for the trans and the air side of the intercooler are all one unit and sits where the passenger seat would be mounted.

But your car Ed so just passing on info for general knowledge.

Based on the picture in post #1353 I can see why they put the by-pass valves where they did and it was sinple enough to make a cradle mount that had the mounting holes for the wastegate and position the by-pass valves 90 degrees to the air flow.

One thing for sure, when the by-pass valves do open up you will drop the pressure fairly quickly but the loads will still be on the Inter-cooler tank and especially the Turbocharger compressor blades as they fight with the reverse pulses of the air in the plumbing.

Besides the potential inter-cooler seeing a pressure spike, there is one other very important benefit of dumping the air quickly when the throttle blade closes.
That is the "Jerk" effect on the turbo blades each time you get a backward pressure wave.
Very Hard on Turbo Compressor Blades. But Hey, you got the cash, you can see what happens, may not be an issue or you may be ordering more turbos at some point.
Merry Christmas and and to your and your brother's families.

I have to agree with this. If you peddle it to save it or just plain lift off the peddle and let the throttle blade shut there is no where between the throttle body and the inter-cooler to blow off it will split a seem in the inter-cooler. (TRUST ME) once we added another blow off on the inter-cooler on the engine side we have NEVER had another problem. I have seen pressure spikes as high as 68lbs when the car as gotten loose and had to peddle it. Here are a couple pics of the blow offs we run.

Is the 3rd BoV inside the car and vented outside the car?
How much piping do you have between your intercooler and the throttle blade?

Inter-cooler is center in there just beyond the main hoop so 4' maybe
3rd has a guard around it to direct the airflow towards the back.

Ed- I sure do enjoy viewing your first-class work in the Raven's engine compartment. Not to mention the beautiful construction of all the rest of the car!
