Default Dan Gurney, Checkered Flag.

Amazing guy & amazing life. Winner in Indy Cars, Stock cars, Sports cars, F1 cars..
Car builder, inventor.
He will be forever remembered as the guy who shook the Champagne & sprayed it on the crowd after winning with Foyt at LeMans.
A life well lived.

...makes me wonder if PMD picked certain Head Casting numbers in respects to certain racers, like "48" for Gurney.

Spoke with him several times over the years at Mid-Ohio/indy/elkhart lake etc, this is getting old fast saying goodbye to those who inspired us in our early years, we suppposed to look up to colin kapernick now? wow, i miss the old days. I sound like my grandfather. GOD SPEED DAN! All American Racer indeed.
