78 grand lemans value $$$
Any ideas what a 1978 Grand lemans value is, chevy 305, floor shifter. Tilt column. Guy is selling it for $2000 obo.. is the price ok?

That is a good price and they are good cars. Not much power but it will get you down the street

Looks like a good buy, if rust free as has already been stated. The rear frame rails are probably the worst place for rust. Buy it, drop in a 400-455 Pontiac, and have fun dusting off a lot of Mustangs and Camaros. Dave

That's a great price.
As said..check the rear frame rails especially where they go over the rear axle. EASY transplant 400-455 / T400. I believe Maddog makes headers. |

These were more heavily optioned than their sister Malibu coupes. Most had A/C and other niceties - tilt, cruise, etc. The doors, bare shells, ironically interchange between the Grand Am, Malibu, and El Camino.

Thats a decent price, but does have damage on the front left fender and looks like the nose/header panel has been replaced. It is correct for a 78 though.
Interior plastic, floors and rear frame rails are what needs to be unpected |
