Well, I think it will be decided tonight.

Should have got a pool up so one could put their money where their mouth is?

When I saw the Patriots had chosen their white jerseys as the home team, I figured they must be playing up to superstition on their fortune in their last two Super Bowl wins, along with the two losses to the Giants coming under the blue jerseys.
They shoulda' been thinking: We beat the Eagles wearing white in SB XXXIX, now it's time to beat them in blue. This would've also evened out the (six) Lombardi trophys at 3 each for blue & white.

To say this was a disappointment would be an understatement.

Eagles were determined, technical, creative, controlled and persevered. Aside from a few moments in the 4th quarter we never held a lead. Too many missed opportunities, mistakes, incompletes that were catchable, field goals not made, etc. The list is unfortunately long.

For most of us in New England the win was a forgone conclusion only to be shattered by the reality of a better, more prepared, and hungry team on the field. Defeat is a feeling we know better than victory here, we don't learn by our wins but by our losses. Time to go back to practice - the new season starts today.

Patricia's defense has been suspect all season, and playing an offense like Philly it finally caught up to them, at the worst possible time. Patriot's offense can adjust to about any defense, same can't be said about their defense.
Great game though.

Just a fantastic game- as one would except Patriots came back and the Eagles had to prove how bad they wanted it.

Phillys defense didn't show up.....and ours didn't either....but I thought Brady would get pressured more..didn't happen...Foles played great and won that game for them. We couldn't stop a nose bleed....

Could it be Belichick informed Kraft that his days of coaching are getting much shorter.? Why else would McDaniel spurn the Colts head coaching job. Always some intrigue around the Pats.

The Boston Sports channels....put their spin on it....Kraft hauled back McDaniels to have leverage against Belechick...if Belechick wants huge money.....Kraft will say,see yah....I have McDaniels. Plus Kraft can't be too happy about Belechick not playing Butler....which would have made a difference.....And let a Super Bowl slide to Philly. It's still a mystery why Belechick ,humiliated butler...so they said...no one is talking about that yet...but something will surface......I wouldn't be surprised if Kraft Fired Belechick either....Belechick also gave away Grapallo ,because the Krafts wanted Tom Brady to die in a Patriot Uniform...and Bill probably wanted Brady gone, just on age alone....So poor Bill ain't shopping for the Groceries on this one !

Thanks for this, I’m following it from the Colts perspective and it’s good to hear some local MA insight.

Lots of miss assumptions here. Lets look at some points.
1, Bill Belichick Is the head coach, But, he also the teams GM. ( ONLY NFL Team like this) Bill controls players salaries and who he gets and trades or releases. This is one reason for his success. This saves DRAMA and money.
2. Bill has a military mentality about running the team, and practices. Not everyone fits, and some unknowns do better than high $$ players.
3. Brady is held to extreme high standards, many he sets for himself. Brady and Josh have brought "mental toughness" into the Game at a high level.
4. Krafts are not going to Fire Bill, thats insane stupidity. Kraft does like Brady, but Im sure that To the delight of the media, Brady and Belichick will know hen its time to get off the field.
5. Brady. Avg pay is about 14 million, which is about 10th-12 Rank in the NFL for Qb's . Why?, He values TEAM and Winning..
6. Butler. Butler has been playing at about 70% all season due to Gilmore. He was supposed to be gone this season to the saints anyways. Bulter missed a Curfew, missed a Saturday meeting, and was smoking weed before the superbowl. Know you know why he got benched? Too bad he took up a roster spot.
7. Mcdaniels has a family and likes where he is. Not all asst. coaches make great head coaches, especially when they have to deal with a GM that likes players that may not be best in that system. Imagine working for John Elway?
Bill Belichick works for HIMSELF. That protects the coahes under him if they "Do Their Job"
Now we have some facts out there and the BS guessing and Drama can end, or can it?
The Boston media have so little REAL info, its just easier for them to make up what someone "thinks" and then build a story around it.

Your point #6 is false.......Butler put on insta gram or twitter or what ever.....he Was NOT out clubbing..or missed curfew..he was with family..and not smoking weed....The Patriots are yet to respond...crickets.. Time will tell
