Not "another car" John - just a car to love.
The now divorced ex-wife took off with my life's work. The red GTO in my avatar had to be sacrificed and after 2 years I'm finally getting back up again to a position where I can look forward to opening the garage and cast my eyes over a beautiful Pontiac again. I have made contact with Glenn and if the Bonny is as good as she looks and I can secure her, my journey back to sanity will begin. One thing I have to salute to these modern times ... I divorced her online for $250 and advised her that if she wanted the official papers she'd have to reimburse me. At least I had one small win. LOL |

If the car is as good as it looks, go for it. If I had spotted this on the forum earlier, I would have pursued it too. I have a '70 Bonneville convertible that I bought off a guy on here three years ago,I restored it and I love it. Same color combo as the '69. The ride is incredible, the gas mileage is not! (455) Always draws a crowd at the cruise ins and holds six people in comfort. You just don't see the late 60s early 70s Bonnevilles around, and if you do they are pimped out! The 75 Grandvilles are more popular but that's what make the earlier ones special. Parts are hard to come by and and re chroming is expensive but that 69 looks complete. Price sounds good. Here's mine. https://photos.shutterfly.com/album/40170528533 Dan Last edited by hoosierGP; 02-17-2018 at 05:05 PM. Reason: no pic |

WOW! She looks fantastic Dan ... great photo. You've certainly done a great job on the resto. I'd take your car over a Grandville any day.
