New holes for power window regulator
Howdy All,
I’m not using the original doors on my 64 and putting the power windows back in. The holes don’t seem to line up with the different regulators. It appears I need to drill 4 new holes at the dimples. Is that right!

Terry - I can't answer your question but you might be able to answer a question for me. I am putting power windows in my 64 that came with standard cranks. I need to know where to drill for the wiring conduit in the door and in the jam. Locations and hole sizes.

There are dimples in the door jam that locate the proper position. The easiest way to choose the size of the hole is to use the rubber/plastic wire protector diameter. I'm sorry I don't recall the size.

Terry,
If you have the 64 body shop manual, it looks like page 12-14 answers your question. Shows photo of door using power windows and the four mounting screws line up with your dimples. |

Excellent, that's what I figured. I'm more used to the 68-72 body's. Same holes! Lots of fun though!
