Sorry, but I’ve machined way too many 549s that came out of buses and dump trucks. Incidentally, the gas 549 was the basis for the 9.0 liter IH Diesel engine found in buses and dump trucks until the advent of the DT series engines( far superior). 348? Try 345...

Then I guessed correctly. I went back and calculated using 72cc chambers, 8cc valve reliefs on flat tops, cometic head gasket .030" thick with a 4" bore and zero decked. I raised the compression from 9.50psi to 9.54psi.

Eunice doesn't change much I'd imagine. I've only been here ten years but I like living here. I'm from Lafayette originally. I lived in Opelousas from '94-'96 while going to T.H. Harris for Electronics and would never go back......It's in worse shape than it's ever been.

I've only been to Eunice a couple times but been to Lawtell plenty.
I miss the food for sure and yes I am related to Chef Paul Prudhomme, he was my uncle.

Don't come here that much anymore and did not know about this 455 Sauce till now. I wish Barbacuban all the luck in the world. The only thing that freaks me out is not being able to eat cajun food when I want.
