I checked my '68 EUN and it ends with '29'. I have no idea what that means. It's not the casting number either as that ends in '71'

Was thinking the number you were talking about was right next to the engine code. I think it was like the part # for the engine. Somewhere I had a list of some, but can't find it right now. That's also why the sheet (usually) has a blurb about not ordering from the chart. They didn't sell complete engines. (just fitted blocks usually)

Are they the last 2 digits of the 3 digit order number? The first number was a 3. Eg The engine number on the build sheet and order sheet was 345.
It's just a guess. Don't have one handy to verify. |

Ram Air for 68 was 347 engine code - timing and price dictated whether it was a I or a II.
