I need a little help,
Can anyone tell me what lengths of what color stripe vacuum lines are need to complete a headlight vacuum harness? I have most if not all of the connectors, but am unsure what to order. I see all colors are available at $3.00 pr foot. Is this the best way to get vacuum line? seems awfully spendy, but what isn't with this hobby Just don't want to buy 4 feet too much, or 4" too littleThanks!

The photos should help.
Blue stripe hose - carb to T connector = 3 ft Green stripe hose - T connector to vacuum canister = 3 ft Blue (original hose looks blue-greenish now) - T connector thru firewall to headlight switch = ~3 ft For the hoses from headlight switch to front actuators, I bought a new forward lamp wiring harness that included the vacuum lines already wrapped with wiring. I believe it is Ames #M12110. I would check with Ames to make sure it is included, been a few years since I bought.

Thanks guys, this gets me started for sure. Thought bought the complete kit, but I have a lot of the parts that are included, so its not a good value for me.
KK68, is that a new horn relay? (just noticed it in your pictures) what one did you go with for that part?

It’s my original horn relay. Just cleaned and cleared it.

Nice! I was looking at the repro's & they don't mention the key buzzer being built in.
I was going to order one until I became unsure if that was still part of the relay. I had my original relay cover re-plated & it looks pretty good, but the internals where junk. 68RT

I was just looking at the complete vacuum line kit because I am unsure how long & routing of the hoses. But $160 sees a bit expensive. I really only need the vacuum lines & a new check valve. I have the connectors.
so should I get 7 feet of green stripe & 4 of the blue?

Yah! I found my original front harness, or whats left to it anyway....
This helps a bunch. Looks like I would need about 12' of green & maybe 6 or 7' of blue? Sound about right? I was surprise mine still had all the original lines. Green was gone on the exposed hoses, but no splices & had green under the tape. also would seem that blue stripe is 5/32" & the green is 1/8" ?

If you’re buying a new front (headlight) wiring harness, I think the vacuum lines will be included and already wrapped with electrical. Then you’ll just need the 6’ blue stripe and 3’ green for carb to vacuum canister to switch lines.

Actually I do have a nice original harness, but no vacuum lines on that one.
